People trekking with/without
dogs. From 12 – 60 yrs. Use to walking a
little more than 3 – 10 km/day. If you bring
your dog, know that a leash is a must all
time in the national park. |

Follow
our leads as we take you to an old historic place,
Morbäckssätern, for locals and those who know the
truth behind one of Sweden’s most popular children
songs ever.
This is
only the beginning of stories that the landscape
will tell us while we take us through it.
Day
1:
We start at
Fulufjällets Naturum
at
midday
where we will meet up and leave most of our
cars and then drive a short bit to
Morbäckssätern ; from here we
will walk upon the Fulufjällsmountain. We will pass
Tangåsjöarna and see Altaringen, a place
where Swedish and Norwegian met once a year to hold
service beneath the bare skies. Our night escape
will be beneath the highest point, which is the
Norwegian part of the mountain.
Day
2:
This day is dedicated to Göljån and the water
disaster area, which has a very specific birdlife,
for those who are interested. It’s also a very
beautiful place to visit, to learn more about nature
disasters. We will return upon the mountain after
this green walk down in the valley.
Day
3:
We will from Tangsjön walk up towards Harrsjö; we
will explore the surroundings and also Brattfjället.
This day is for exploration of the inner spirit of
Fulufjället. The terrain varies from rocky, to swamp
and low cut areas of birch.
Day
4:
This day is dedicated to our highest waterfall, the
heart of the landscape in Fulufjället area. We will
take a lunch by the waterfall before we wander down
towards the end station Fulufjällets Naturum, where
we will pass several interesting swamp areas.
