Pike, black grouse,
capercaillie - all in 3 days
This is the package for you who are
looking for a real Swedish challenge. For three days we will fish
for pike, hunt black grouse and hunt capercaillie.
The pike is one of the most popular
fish species to fish for in Sweden. Fishermen from all over the
world come here to challenge the mighty predator. We use a boat or a
canoe to increase your chances.
For bird hunters there are few birds
more challenging and exclusive as the capercaillie. You can spend a
life time trying to master the art of capercaillie hunting and there
is never a guarantee to succeed. But with a good guide and well
trained dogs you give your luck a push!
Ever seen 30-50 black grouses at the
same time? Welcome to the black grouse arena. Early in
the morning we make our way to the arena and wait in one of our many
hides. Once the birds fly in, you make your pick and with the help
from your guide it is time to make the shot you will remember for a
long time.
Remember these are
three exclusive trophies and you should never expect it to be easy.
Day 1 arrival day
and dinner
Day 2 early
morning and black grouse hunting at the arena. Breakfast once we get
back to the camp and the rest of the day is spent at a lake for
really exciting pike fishing. Dinner and sauna in the evening.
Day 3 full day in
the forest hunting for capercaillie using a barking tree dog, a
Finnspitz. If the snow has fallen we will take the skis instead.
Dinner and sauna in the evening.
Day 4 the third
day we use as back up day. Depending on the success the previous
days we fish pike, hunt capercaillie and/or hunt black grouse.
